Accessing and Navigating Classes
Accessing the Class for the First Time
If you already have an account with Fireweed Acupuncture’s portal:
Locate the the welcome email for the class you’ve signed up with and click the button in the email.
You’ll be taken to the portal. Click on the course title to be taken to the course homepage.
Keep scrolling down for more info on how to navigate the class.
(If you plan on accessing the course using your mobile phone, I recommend downloading the Practice Better app!)
If you don’t already have an account with Fireweed Acupuncture’s portal, here’s how to create one:
Find the welcome email with the subject line “Join Kate Thomas on Practice Better.” Practice Better is the portal for the class! You must activate your account using this email to access the class.
In the email, click on the welcome link, and then click “Not an existing user? Sign up” below the login box - see the red box in the image below:
Navigating the Portal and Class
Once you’ve accessed the class, the portal will look similar to the image below. (If you’re a current patient, you will have additional information on this screen.) Click on the title of the class you’d like to access.
Once you’re in the class, your screen will display the available modules. Depending on the course, you may see all the modules the class offers, or you may only see 1-2 modules and additional modules will open as you complete prior ones.
To access the lesson, click on the bolded title. Using the image below as an example, you would click on “Introduction” or “Chinese Medicine Theory & the Water Element”. Clicking the purple “Complete” button marks the module as complete. Continue scrolling down the list of modules to see everything that is currently available.
