Summer Qi Gong

  • Fireweed Acupuncture 3520 Beaver Avenue Suite C Des Moines, IA, 50310 United States (map)

Join Jackie Moser, LMT, and Kate Thomas, LAc, for our Summer Qi Gong Workshop! Qi Gong is a form of mindful movement that helps regulate Qi, or the vital energy of the body, and helps us remain strong and grounded. Over the course of three weeks, you'll learn the Shen Qi Gong form, and we'll discuss Chinese medicine tips for the Summer season. You’ll leave the class each week with information to help you and your body better adapt to the season!

Click here to sign up for this workshop! The class is limited to 8 participants.

The class is held on 3 Mondays: June 24, July 1, and July 8 from 6-7 pm. Because each week builds on the previous week, we strongly recommend that you attend all three nights!

The workshop series is $60. If the cost is a burden or you would like a payment plan, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jackie at resonance.massage.therapy@gmail.com.

Accessibility: This form is typically performed standing and involves arm movements and holding body poses for a period of time. Please bring a yoga mat or wear warm and slip-resistant socks! Chairs will also be provided, if it is more comfortable for you to sit between poses or while listening. You are also welcome to sit on the floor! There is a single-occupancy, all-gender restroom in the clinic.

COVID & Mask policy: Masks are not required but are welcome; if you are experiencing upper respiratory symptoms, we ask that you wear a mask. We will have a HEPA filter running during the event.
